Thursday Report for The Subcontinental, July 4th, 2002

This is the Subcontinental Institute's bi-weekly report to 
inform you about the recent happenings at the organization 
and journal.

NEWS HIGHLIGHTS

The Subcontinental Institute is pleased to announce that the 
IRS has approved its application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. 
Your financial contributions to The Subcontinental and the 
Institute are now tax deductible. Our thanks to all who played 
a part in helping us reach this milestone.

Today is Independence Day, a good day to remember that we enjoy 
the benefits of democracy. And, the key to a well functioning 
democracy is an educated citizenry. The Subcontinental is proud 
to be a part of this, and we invite your continued participation 
as we grow.
