Gopal Savjani is founder and President of Diagnostic Systems Laboratories (DSL), a medical diagnostic kit manufacturer based in Houston with offices in Canada, Germany, and India. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1968 to attend graduate school in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley. Thereafter he started IncStar, which was later acquired. In 1981, he established DSL, which has grown to employ 150 people worldwide.

Mr. Savjani has been a business leader and active member of the community in Houston for the past 23 years. He is a well-known philanthropist giving to charities and educational institutions in both Texas and South Asia.
